In Bloom

.
I love this time of year.  Being surrounded by things in bloom makes me so happy.  Sometimes I think I may have missed my calling as a owner of a garden center.  I would love to work in a greenhouse all day!
.
My peonies did really well this year.  I had so many huge blooms and my house has been full of peony bouquets for the last week.
.
.
To say I'm obsessed with my peonies may be putting it mildly.
.
.
.
.
My Siberian Iris plants were also in bloom this week.
.
.
.
And these pansies are growing in a pot on my porch.
.
.
.
These purple petunias are part of a hanging basket on my porch.  I didn't realize how many purple flowers I had until I started looking through these pictures.
.
.
I'm really enjoying the view from my front porch right now.
.
.
Soon my hydrangeas and roses will be blooming.  I can't wait!

  3. I love the view from your front porch, too. What gorgeous landscaping. I am a little obsessed with manicured yards. Your flower photos are great. I can only have pansies in cooler weather. Too late for them here. I am having a giveaway if you want to join.

  5. looks so fantastic! love the view from your front porch as well. what are those green hooky things that are helping your flowers stand? i like that you have them hooked in small amounts. are they in the ground or just attached at the stems?.i am having issues with my flowers all leaning towards the sun, and therefore out of their flower beds, and they look ridiculous! i tried that green velco tape, but no. it will not cut it visually for me. i like your idea best! do tell!

  6. Alissa, your flowers and pictures are beautiful as always! A green thumb is something I either wasn't blessed with or haven't fully explored. One of these days I think I'll pick up gardening.
