Weekend Kitchen: Red Velvet Cupcakes

.
Yum.  Yesterday I made red velvet cupcakes using a recipe from Joy the Baker.  These are good cupcakes.  Seriously good.  So good I could have eaten the whole dozen.  I took them in to work today to save myself the calories.  They were a hit.  For the recipe go here.

Look at that red batter!

The little lovelies fresh out of the oven.

Making the cinnamon cream cheese frosting while the cupcakes cool.

All iced and ready to enjoy!  Don't they look delish?

Make these - I think you'll be happy you did!

  1. What can I say? I am loving your blogs and they make me really hungry! I am not sure if it is the cooking/baking or the photography! :)

  2. Thanks Kate! I'm glad you are enjoying the blog! I am having a little trouble with my food photography skills - everything comes out looking kind of dark. I'm trying to get it right!

  3. Cooking must be one of your loves, because all of your food looks so good, not to mention that the photography is beautiful. Can you believe I've never had red velvet cupcakes? Crazy.
