Craigslist Find. . .

.
I found this little side table on Craigslist last month for only $15.  I don't usually have much luck on Craigslist, so I was happy to find this!  And for such a reasonable price.
.
.
It will be getting a fresh coat of paint in a new color.  I just need to decide what color!  Part of me wants to be bold and try something fun, but I have a feeling I'll end up painting it a nice creamy white.  If I do paint it white, I'm think I'll have to find a new lamp.  Hmmm, decisions, decisions.
.
.
I love all the little details.
.
.
.
.
.
Be back with a reveal once it warms up enough for me to paint it outside.

  3. Great find! I really like the lamp so maybe paint the table a darker color?

  4. Well, I love it the way it is, but a bright color would be very nice and you wouldn't have to paint the lamp. One thing always leads to another doesn't it?

  7. I never find anything noteworthy on Craigslist either - so I am living vicariously through you Alissa! That is such a cutie - how about some crazy color like turquoise or lime green? They would both look fabulous with your brown & white chair.

How about painting it Robin's Egg Blue? That's my all time fave accent color and it looks great with browns.

  23. Wow, you found that for 15.00? Now, that's a great find! Yes, my parents live on Eagle Mountain...there's a grocery store before the gates and a strip mall. I can see Firerock from their neighborhood when I take my walks. I can't remember which golf green they live off of, but they collect quite alot of golf balls! Very nice area, isn't it?

  30. I love the table and really think a hot popping color would look great. But honestly? I am in serious lust with that little turtle sitting on it! :)

  31. It's awesome! I say go with a FAB bold color. Will look even better with all the white eye candy on the table and next to that chocolate/white chair. I say a cool shade of yellow, orange or blue...that's just me=) Check out the frame color I used on my garage sale picture frame =)

  34. Allisa,
Apple green, or any bright yellow green for that matter always looks so good with brown. And something tells me green just might be your colour:) It's a great table no matter what colour you paint it.

  37. Fantastic find! I think you should paint it a bolder colour, like blue or green! I love the lamp too!

I just picked up my dresser that I got for $25! It is going to be a TV console, can't wait to get painting, our weather had finally warmed up!

  38. I just found your blog today and love this! I agree with everyone else, be BOLD!! I finally was brave a few years ago and started doing a little bold in my house with colors and loved it! Plus, then you can keep all the beautiful white accents on the table. I like the brown that it is with your other colors, but I think a bright green or red or orange or yellow would look great!

  39. Love the table! Wish you could come to our home and decorate the whole house when it is built!!! Anyway, I am sure you have answered this a million times but what kind of camera do you use? Also, do you use an editing program?? Beautiful photography and beautiful home! The lamp is too unique to replace, I vote paint the table an exciting color:) Either way, I am sure your vision is amazing!
