Crayons. . .

Your attitude is like a box of crayons that color your world. Constantly color your picture gray, and your picture will always be bleak. Try adding some bright colors to the picture by including humor, and your picture begins to lighten up. ~Allen Klein

I found this box of crayons last weekend in my Grandparents basement.  My Dad's name is written on the front of the box.  My Dad was born in 1951, so I'm guessing that they are from the late 50s.  Not a single crayon is missing!  These make me smile.

  1. This is really cool. I can't believe how good of shape the box and crayons are in too.

  4. What a great find! And not one crayon missing, just shows how previous generations valued and took good care of their things, no matter how insignificant they may have seemed. Thanks for sharing!

  5. My heart skipped a beat when I read about your find! I am sentimental about family treasures AND about old art and/or school supplies. When I think about the stories they could tell, it makes me smile.
