Christmas Cards & Gift Tags

.
I usually make my Christmas cards each year.  It took me a little while this year to get motivated, but I finally finished them and got them out in the mail last week.  I came up with a super simple design that didn't take too long to put together.
.

.
First I stamped "merry christmas" on the front of the card.
.

.
Next I glued on a decorative piece of paper to the front of the card.
.

.

.
Then I added a stamp to the inside of the card and a ribbon on the front of the card.
.

.
.
All finished!

.
Today I made some very simple gift tags.

Next up - wrapping!

  1. Love those tags! How did you do those? Plain white tags and paper cut to size??

  4. Thanks Cindy & Jane for stopping by!

Beege - I used cardstock for the base of the tags - even easier than buying plain tags. Also nice because then you can make them any size you want!

  5. I made my Christmas cards this last Christmas too! It was my first year doing something crafty instead of store bought. I would love for you to check it out and let me know what you think!
